The El Dorado County Young Democrats (EDCYD) is the official Democratic Party organization for voters under the age of 36 in El Dorado County who wish to actively participate in the Democratic Party.   Our members work hard to improve the community and elect Democrats – from El Dorado County Board of Supervisors to the halls of Congress. Participate in the Young Dems and you will:

• Meet other young professionals and students in the El Dorado community who share your values;
• Work to elect Democratic candidates at all levels of government;
• Improve your community today by participating in our community service events;
• Learn the ropes about the political process so you can be an effective advocate for the things you care about;
• Meet elected officials and ask them questions directly.

The people who believe El Dorado County is merely a place for retired Republicans are blind to the change that is happening around them. YOU are the future of El Dorado. And even if we haven’t met you, we know you. You’re young, technically savvy and you know this country is messed up. Come help us do something about it and welcome aboard!
